A very rare garniture of Derby vases



of tapering form with moulded scroll handles and flower finials, the central vase with a high domed cover, the side vases with flatter covers resting inside the trumpet necks, with finely painted panels of European landscapes with figures in the foreground, the reverse painted with groups of birds, the smaller panels with butterflies and moths, reserved within gilt scrolled borders on mazarine blue grounds.
